Rose, that’s her name, he knows her name. He’s known it for weeks now, but if he thinks of her Rose, and not as the woman he’s trying to pull, well, that’s getting distracted, isn’t it?

So, of course, because the universe is herself a cruel and heartless woman, he was always going to stop thinking of Rose as the blonde, and as the woman he’s trying to pull, and instead start thinking of her as Rose Tyler.
Two names, just like that. He normally can’t be arsed to remember one.
It didn’t even take long, just a couple of months of teamwork and inspirational speeches and a significant downgrade in the age of his Macallan, and there she was — Rose Tyler.
He likes the way it rolls around on his tongue, and he’s pretty sure he’d like the way she would roll around on his tongue, too.
He’s still nearly certain he’ll get to find out.
