Doctor Who Fic Master List.

At first it was like, “I’m going to eventually upload everything to Teaspoon!” and then it was like, “I am going to upload everything to AO3!” and then it was like, “I am going to, at least, upload everything to LiveJournal!”

And then it was like, well, I’ll just make a list. And (hopefully) keep it updated.

So, here that is: everything I’ve written that has to do with Doctor Who (including AUs and RPF), grouped by category, with rating, pairing, and word count!

Doctor Who fic:

5 Times Rose Tasted Like Peppermint, and One Time the Doctor Did, Too. [adult; Nine/Rose; Ten/Rose; TenToo/Rose + 5,161 words]

His mouth where hers has been, hers where his has been, and the ice cream slowly melting, requiring tongues and lapping and licking and it’s too much and not enough, and then his knee brushes hers under the table.

and other gerunds [teen; TenToo/Rose + 631 words]

But did you have to pick such a windy night for it? And where am I supposed to steal off to when your mother gets to be too much to handle? You know she will. She’ll keep chasing me around with that ring, trying to get me to take it, like I can’t procure something as simple as a ring on my own.

Asphalt for Days [teen; AU; Ten/Rose; Ten/Master + WIP + currently 2,675 words]
First, there’s the way no one ever looks happy to be moving into the Powell Estate. That’s not really a cause for celebration — council housing — but here’s this bloke, grinning from ear to ear, cheerfully lugging boxes up the stairs.
Audio Engineering [all ages; TenToo/Rose + 531 words]
She collects the sounds of the universe on a pocket recorder from Woolworths.

Bathroom Stall [adult; TenToo/Rose + 299 words]

It’s totally inappropriate and not half mad, the way her trousers are around her ankles in London’s premiere family fun restaurant.

Better Living Through Domesticity [adult; TenToo/Rose + 12,326 words]

And there, between their palms, is a first. The first time, it’s not just her sweat-slicked hand dampening their grip. It’s his hand, too. Warm and wet and (part) human.

Cake [teen; Nine/Rose + 312 words]

“It’s just a little something, a thank you, for always keeping you safe,” Jackie says and hands over the plastic.

careless in our summer clothes. [adult; Ten/Rose + 925 words]
A museum and a hotdog cart and three different bowling alleys, his hand in hers as she tugs him breathlessly to the next mundane adventure.

Chase Down the Lights [adult; TenToo/Rose + 4,842 words]

“Oh, fine,” she said, throwing her hands up. “Next time I see a wobbly light out the window, you’ll be first on the list. Happy?”

Christmas, Unpacked [all ages; TenToo/Rose + 330 words]

It’s the first time he’s watched Christmas like this. The first time he’s watched it spread slow through the air, unpacking and quiet, bit by bit and so very linear.

Costume [adult; TenToo/Rose + 653 words]

Then it’s a matter of a couple quick sketches for the family seamstress, and he’s got a near-perfect-match dress for Rose and a suit he stares at for 20 minutes before leaving the room, brown pinstripes hanging still from the wardrobe in his wake.

Educated Guesses [adult; TenToo/Rose; drug use + 1,038 words]
Skin too tight and blood singing and every part of him screaming out to run, run, run. Not from Rose, not from their life, but run to enjoy it, to feel it, to live it, bright and loud and electric.

Gasp [teen; Ten/Rose + 297 words]

There’s no reason for it as far as she can see, no weird alien mind control, no accidentally inhaling something humans aren’t meant to inhale, nothing.

Get Back [all ages; TenToo/Rose + 502 words]

Rose’s foot begins to tap and it slots into place, “Doctor, that’s the Beatles. Did you — oh my god, is that why the fish was called Jojo?”

Good, Brilliant, Spectacular [adult + happy, smutty fluff; TenToo/Rose + 1,454 words]

It’s months and months and months after Norway that it strikes him. Months filled with beds and kitchen tables, storage cupboards and balconies, every sofa they’ve ever occupied alone for more than an hour.

Hemingway [all ages; Ten/Rose + 245 words]

It’s the most elaborate guessing game Rose could have ever imagined — clues spanning whole galaxies and millions of years.

How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep? [all ages; TenToo/Rose + 412 words]

It’s just past dawn, the city is mostly empty, the day is starting, lit by that early morning light, and there’s a few zeppelins cutting slowly across the sky, there’s the sun reflecting off One Canada Square. (the first 90 seconds of the Pete’s World series, if I were in charge.)

I Think You Need a Doctor [teen-ish; meta-ish; Nine/Rose + 303 words]

And it’s a terrible line, he knows it’s terrible, but he’s grown fond of it, all the times he’s thought to use it and never did.

Important Things to Forget [adult-ish; Ten/Rose; 1,391 words]

“Just to be clear,” he says, “Was it the copping a feel or the doing it in your sleep that you’re sorry for?”

In Medias Res. [adult; TenToo/Rose + 802 words]
Clothes come off like the strokes of a brush, puddles of color collecting on the floor, there is blue, there is pink, there is skin and flesh and curves.

Lock Up [teen; TenToo/Rose + 640 words]

It’s the smallest jail cell Rose has ever been in.

look, learn. [all ages; Ten/Rose + 292 words]
She learns his body faster than he does, the skin and hair and complete absence of scars.

love with the electric sound. [adult; TenToo/Rose; 3,389 words]

It’s been four months of this, four months of never bringing it up at home, in bed, where it belongs, when he finally graduates to a picture message.

Mark Up [teen; TenToo/Rose + 596 words]
Torchwood’s most wayward consultants, flipping a coin to see who stays home with their daughter, and who adds another thousand frequent flier points to the bucket.
Matterhorn [teen; TenToo/Rose + 254 words]
Of course, it’s not actually a public area, this spot he’s chosen for the inaugural public shag.

program worldwide [teen; TenToo/Rose + 534 words]

There was nothing to suggest, then, that he’d suddenly decided they needed to visit the west coast of America for any reason other than wanderlust. Nothing to suggest he meant anything by, “California, Rose! California knows how to party.”

Quantification of Apologies in Quarantine [adult; TenToo/Rose + 5,673 words]
“I think we maybe skipped a step. After I confess to my sins, and you forgive me, there’s certain things I think that humans do. And I want to do them,” he pauses and takes a deep breath. “Are we outside of the window for make up sex?”

Ring of Fire [teen; Ten/Rose, past Doctor/Master + 797 words]

“Hope you’re not worried about germs! Wait, what am I talking about? We took care of that back at the Academy. Do you suppose there are still little bits of me swimming around inside of you? I mean, it’s been hundreds of years.”

Sexual Tension in Stasis [adult; Ten/TenToo/Rose + 9,841 words]

The metaphor extends, the needle tripping ever closer to the end of the disc, and he’ll need to go back to that other universe once it’s played through.

Situational Reality [teen; TenToo/Rose + 500 words]

Her knickers, the striped cotton ones, the ones that won’t give with just a flick of his wrist. The ones that she trips over when they’re forgotten around her ankles and she jumps a mile at the sound of her little brother on the other side of the pool house door.

Sometime Around Midnight [teen; TenToo/Rose + 2,818 words]

It took two months. Two months of takeaway curries and crap television, of rumpled sheets and that spot on her neck that always makes her squirm. Two months of talking about Mickey’s new girlfriend and Jackie’s new tracksuit and decidedly not what a new, new, new Doctor meant to a new Rose.

Start As You Mean to Go On [adult; TenToo/Rose + 7,184 words]

The best kinds of games, of course, are the ones where there are no losers.

Stepford [adult; Ten/Rose; link goes to part 1 + WIP + currently 11,265 words]
“Oh, come on, you know what I mean, that sort of thing is always happening on the telly. Take two attractive people, mix in a little tension, stick ‘em in a single bedroom for ratings, stir and repeat.”

still like to go for a train ride (‘cause i’ve got a thing about trains) [adult; TenToo/Rose + 3,867 words]

“A train caper, Rose!”

This New Finite Existence [teen; TenToo/Rose + 391 words]

He’s got a to-do list in his mind, things he wants to make sure he crams into this new, finite existence.

Throw Pillows [teen-ish; TenToo/Rose + 239 words]

“Jacks, what’s on the pillows?”

Tricks of the Metacrisis Mind [teen; TenToo/Rose + 733 words]

Sometimes though, it all shuts down, his mind and his body in perfect bliss, because there are six types of Rose Tyler kisses and the Doctor knows them all.

Tumble [teen-ish; Ten/Rose + 269 words]

And Rose is like, “Nothing, just a blogging site.”

Writing on the Wall [all ages; TenToo/Rose + 373 words]

“All right, who is he then?”

Doctor Who AU fic:

Go Bad Wolves! [teen; Ten/Rose; AU for NBC’s Community + 315 words]

Plus, he likes hats, he looks brilliant in hats. And suits. Pinstripes. Trainers. Glasses. Boxer briefs. In them, out of them, it’s good to be the Doctor.

Here You Leave Today [all ages; Ten/Rose + 1,638 words]

It’s certainly not a Disney-issue uniform, which only makes Rose more anxious — a stranger, a non-cast member, is running around the bowels of a ride, tinkering with things.

In a Single Bound [teen; Ten/Rose; superhero AU + 1,036 words]

“Oh, you know,” she says. “Reluctant saviors. Never really embrace the whole ‘superhero’ thing. Bet you 10 quid you don’t even have an alter ego.”

Peel Slowly and See. [adult, Record Shop AU; Ten/Rose + 9,872 words]

He barely even looks up when the bells above the door jingle anymore. It’s hardly ever a customer for him, always One Direction this and Adele that, today’s pop music, all firmly in Donna’s wheelhouse.

This Week’s Savior Complex [teen; Harry Potter/Rose + 672 words]

The way he’s lurking along the back of the club, hair sticking up and glasses askew, he seems young and out of place and absolutely horrified at the thought that someone might say something to him.

Tonight’s Top Story [teen; Ten/Rose + 464 words]

“Your lead anchors are playing footsie under the desk, I should be the least of your worries!”

Doctor Who tag-fic:

Doctor on the Radio [teen; TenToo/Rose + 874 words]

But she is — jealous, that is. Because the Doctor had lucked into this new side gig about, oh, 24 years after Rose had locked in her personality as one that decidedly did not belong to a morning person.

Shopping for Domestics [teen; TenToo/Rose + 785 words]

Breakfast in bed? He’ll take it! Mopping the floors? No, thank you. Sex on a half-constructed IKEA table? Yes to the sex, pass on the actual table-shopping.

Starbucks Cups [all ages; Ten/Rose + 267 words]

“Honestly, I don’t understand why you even need to add anything to your coffee. It’s perfect, just as it is. Like Bridget Jones, but a beverage. You’re the one that made me watch that awful movie, you should at least appreciate the sentiment.”

Suit, Birthday [teen-ish; TenToo/Rose + 520 words]

It’s not that she wants to spend her Friday night working — in fact, she’d much rather go out to dinner with the Doctor and his banana desserts. Or maybe get those desserts as takeaway and figure out who makes the best plate. But she had to get this done, or they’d be calling her all weekend.

Vivid [teen; Ten/Rose + 258 words]

Vivid like the way the wood of the fitting room would feel under his hands as he pressed her against it.

Fic co-written with Allison/gallifreyburning:

Gallifrey Records Master Post [teen-ish to adult; Ten/Rose; AU]

World-famous rock legend the Doctor invites Rose Tyler, up-and-coming pop star, to be the opening act on his tenth world tour.

Fic Tennis on Teaspoon [multiple stories; teen-ish to adult; TenToo/Rose]

Generally speaking, a series of unconnected stories about TenToo and Rose in Pete’s World.

Singing Loud for All to Hear [teen; Ten/Rose; AU loosely themed around ‘Elf’ + 20,048 words]

“Wait, no,” he says. “That’s what I want to talk to you about. Like I said, it’s not confirmed, but I can almost always tell,” he pauses, like that’s supposed to sound impressive. “And I think you, Rose Tyler, are on the nice list.”

Tardis, Cash Only [Adult; Ten/Rose; AU + 16,781 words]

It’s not a bad little pub, the Tardis. Or: the Doctor’s got a great team, but he needs someone behind the bar with him. Someone like Rose Tyler.

Tardis, Cash Only II: Halloween [Adult; Ten/Rose; AU + 14,595 words]

There are, in fact, several positive adjectives to describe how he feels right now, but he can’t decide what level of narcissism it is to be so attracted to her like this.

Doctor Who RPF fic:

From the Floorboards Up [adult; David/Billie + 2,342 words]

Because if he’s lost track of it, the number of times his tongue’s been in her mouth, her hand on the front of his trousers, pressing and palming and so, so warm, well, he’s going to have to consider that something they’re doing, instead of something that happens.

oh, i’m a bomb regardless. [adult-ish; David/Billie + 5,363 words]

And that’s when Billie had found him, also in black, also with tits that weren’t for him. (circa the Much Ado run )

Rome [teen-ish; David/Billie + 133 words]

He types out the text four different times and once it’s just a photo taken from his folding chair, leg stretched out over its side and the tip of his trainer blotting out the beauty of Italy.

Slow Burn [teen; Matt/Karen + 297 words]

She’s built like him, all long, thin limbs, but she carries it like a model, how her hips get everywhere just a split second before the rest of her.

Doctor Who RPF tag-fic:

And [teen; David/Billie + 125 words]

And it’s this huge thing, wearing the Doctor’s clothes, walking with the Doctor’s companion, being the Doctor, and so he’s trying to take it all in, soak up every possible bit he can and really focus.

Lit Up [teen; David/Billie + 246 words]

He’s going to say something devastatingly clever about it — or maybe sexy, but he’s not sure how much they can get away with out here, and how much will have to wait for a room with a lock and a bed.

Problem Solving [all ages; David/Billie + 150 words]

Maybe it’s like, “David, this is the ugliest hotel room I’ve ever seen. And why is it so cold in here? My toes are turning blue.”

stage [teen; AU, David/Billie + 492 words]

He’s got big fish in a small pond written all over him, talented, sure, but it’s like — listen, if your options are a tall, skinny Scottish bloke who fancies Shakespeare or a roomful of spotty-faced twats trying to mount another production of Les Mis, you’re going to take the Scottish bloke every time. (+ a companion fic from Cate!)
