So it's cold out clearly and Rose Tyler has the presence of mind to dress for that but also let's talk about how she selected an accessory that leaves her hands free because it's the Doctor and what does she do with the Doctor? She HOLDS HIS HAND so clearly she's not going to bundle her hands up in mittens or gloves because she's going to get him or he's coming to get her and she's got to have her fingers available among other things so she's selected this accessory that barely even anyone owns and then it doesn't even matter and she probably threw those wrist warmer things away at a truck stop somewhere in Norway crying and angry and her heart in her throat because what does it matter if it's cold everything feels cold anyway and so she just jams her hands into her pocket and sets her jaw but she still gets frost bite six times that first winter because something in her keeps telling her to leave her fingers available
