A recruiter for a company/brand in New York that I would like to work for, probably, is, uh, recruiting me, I guess would be how to phrase that and all I can think of is that it gets so cold and I like having the space of a house and I’m not 22 anymore and half of me keeps waiting and hoping for her to send an e-mail that’s like, “No, wait, forget it, haha,” because I don’t want to have to confront the logistics and reality of thinking about moving to New York with a five month old and an Alphonse and the lesson of this is to never, ever think you want anything because it’ll come back to you at an inopportune time and you’ll have to potentially confront grown up decisions and seriously, if this HR lady decides this was all a joke, it would probably be a lot better for everyone involved because if it finishes on track, how do I turn that down? Or how do I not? IT IS SO COLD THERE. AREN’T I JUST SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO HOLD UP A BABY AND NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING EVER AGAIN
